When it's hard to say "I'm not okay", we're here to listen.
Here's the difference your donation makes
For many people, the festive season is a time of joy and connection. But for someone experiencing grief, loneliness, family conflict or thoughts of suicide, it can be one of the hardest times of the year to ask for support.
At Lifeline Adelaide, we understand the courage it takes to reach out. Our trained Crisis Supporters listen without judgement and support people to find a safer way forward.
One conversation won't resolve everything, but we want each Help Seeker to finish their phone call feeling safe, heard and hopeful that things can change.
We won't always know what happens after someone ends the call. Maybe they find the confidence to seek further support, reconnect with someone they trust or speak more openly about how they're feeling.
You might never know how far your kindness reaches.
Every conversation is an opportunity to break down stigma and take a step towards positive change. And that impact extends beyond the phone room.
Our Crisis Supporters carry the skills they develop through Lifeline into their everyday lives, helping friends, families and colleagues have difficult conversations and seek support.
It's a ripple effect that reaches throughout our community, through conversations we'll never hear about and acts of care we may never see.
Government funding doesn't cover the full cost of Lifeline Adelaide. Your generosity helps sustain this vital work, from the conversations happening today to the skills our Crisis Supporters carry into the community.
Will you help keep these important conversations going?
How your donation makes a difference:
